Which operative system is more beginner friendly, Windows, or Mac?

Purpose:
Comparing how user-friendly two operative systems are. A Mac-user where to complete tasks on a Windows-computer, and a Windows-user where to complete tasks on a Mac-computer.
Method:
Qualitative data was collected. Firstly, a survey was constructed to receive data about basic computer knowledge, and what operative system they used. Step two was the user-tests, where the user would try and complete tasks on the system they normally don’t use. Lastly, interviews were conducted to get the users thoughts regarding the test/operative systems.
Results:
The results showed that a Mac-user solved the tasks on a Windows-computer easier than a Windows-user did on a Mac-computer. An example of this was the task to bring up the camera on a Windows-computer. The user could simply think logically, and search for “camera”. On a Mac-computer on the other hand, the user has to type “Photo Booth”. An easy solution to this problem with have been that the Mac-AI regognized the search, and brought up the Photo Booth ap as shown.
Here it shows how it should have looked for the windows-user. The photo Booth app should have come up when searching for "Camera".
There was however a similar example on the Mac-computer, where if the user wanted to end a task, the user could easily find “Force quit” in the meny. This is done in the so called “Task manager” on a Windows-computer, and wasn't as easily found for a Mac-user.
Adobe Premiere pro was used to create a video showcasing the results.
